Ryan Haaksma, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon with a special interest in minimally-invasive procedures, diabetic limb salvage, bunion and hammertoe correction, and sports medicine. Dr. Haaksma received his undergraduate degree from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, followed by his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. He continued his postgraduate training in Chicago through Rush University Medical Center.
While in residency, Dr. Haaksma trained under the region’s most respected podiatric and orthopedic surgeons. His advanced instruction in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery is a key contribution to Modern Foot & Ankle, extending the group’s range of new techniques in surgical intervention.
