Melissa Prutch, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon specializing in heel pain therapy, forefoot elective surgery, sports medicine, and diabetic foot care. Dr. Prutch earned her bachelor's degree from California State University, San Marcos, followed by her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She then completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at James A. Haley Veterans  Hospital in Tampa.
Following her postgraduate training, Dr. Prutch gained valuable experience in private practice settings in both Colorado and Tampa before joining Modern Foot & Ankle. Her dedication to patient education stems from her belief that successful treatment outcomes are achieved through collaborative efforts between patients and their healthcare providers. By prioritizing education and fostering empathetic connections, Dr. Prutch customizes her treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
